My Testimony

Hello.  My name is Greg, and this is my testimony of how Jesus Christ saved me from my sins and completely changed my life forever. I was born in a small town called Springville, NY in 1980. Growing up with my brother and parents, we were raised in a non-religious home. It was not until I was around 10 years old that my parents started to take the family to church. The church was a Presbyterian church. I remember not wanting to go to church each week, however my parents made us go each week. I also remember various times I had somewhat of a curiosity of the Bible, and attempted to read it on a number of occasions. It wasn't until I was about 17 years old that God started to deal with my heart. I would wake up in the middle of the night scared about death. I was also under heavy conviction and was not able to find the answer to my uneasiness.  In 1998 I was invited to go to a city-wide church function put on by many churches in the area to help raise money for those in need. Each church had activities and presentations, I was able to hear a solid Gospel presentation during that weekend. One of the activities of the day was to go to various houses in the neighborhood and take turns praying for those that lived inside. When it was my turn, I was not able to pray, because I did not know how to. I remember that this bothered me greatly. After the event was over, I was encouraged to read the Bible.  An evening after the event I read the Bible and listened to some Bible messages on the radio. During the night I remember praying and asking GOD to save me from my sins.

I can personally testify the life changing GOD that I serve, One that has never given up on me, even though I have failed Him on numerous occasions.

Through the process of time, the Lord helped me find the complete, perfect Word of God. He has also help me to be established in a good local NT church with like minded believers. I will say, because I lacked biblical discipleship, it took me a bit of time to find the King James Bible and understand the importance of why it is important. I also used to go to a "mega church" with the rock "contemporary" type music, but praise the Lord He has shown me why this type of music is not true biblical worship, but rather carnal entertainment for the carnal flesh.

May the Lord Bless you as you navigate this site.
